Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We also use two other kinds of browser storage, local storage and session storage, which work the same way for the purposes of this policy. Everything below covers all three.

Necessary. The platform cannot work without these. They sign you in, keep your language, carry you to the page you asked for, play the lesson video, hold your place in it, and protect your account. They are always on, and there is no consent to give.

Analytics. These tell us which parts of the platform are used and where a learner gets stuck. We turn them on only if you agree.

Marketing. These tell us which advertisement or link brought you here, so we know which campaign works. We turn them on only if you agree.

Feedback. This lets us ask you a short question about the platform inside the app, and send your answer to our analytics provider with your account behind it. It sets no cookie of its own. We turn it on only if you agree.

We use no advertising cookie, and we place no advertisement on the platform.

Our sign-in provider and our video host set their own cookies and decide their own lifetimes. We do not control those values, and we state here only what the provider documents.

These are not cookies. The page stores them in your own browser and they are never sent to us or to anybody else. They are the browser storage that holds your place in a lesson and your layout preferences, together with markers that stop one visit being counted twice and that record which question we have already asked you.

Because none of this leaves your browser, it is necessary storage rather than a choice. You can clear all of it from your browser settings at any time. Clearing it loses your place in a video and nothing else.

We also record on this browser that analytics is switched on or off, so your answer is remembered.

What analytics records: the pages you open, a fixed list of learning events, where you click and move on a page, and any browser error.

What analytics does not record: your screen, the text of the buttons you press, your name, your email address, or your phone number.

Nothing here is written before you agree. If you withdraw your agreement, we stop recording and we remove the cookie and the stored entries; the record that you refused stays, so nothing restarts by itself.

Until you accept marketing cookies, this is never written. If you arrive from an advertisement and accept, we write it then. If you refuse, nothing is stored and the campaign goes uncredited.

This category sets no cookie of its own. It is here because it is a choice you make on the same panel, and because your answer leaves your browser.

What it permits: we may show you a short question inside the platform, either when you press the feedback button yourself or when we ask you how the platform is going. Your answer, the question it answers, the kind of page you were on, and the lesson you were in are sent to our analytics provider with your account behind them, so we can act on what you tell us and reply to you.

What it does not do: it does not record your screen, it does not follow you from page to page, and it never asks for your name, your phone number, or your address. Please do not type personal details into the answer box.

What is kept on your device: a marker recording which question we already asked, so we do not ask you the same thing twice, and, as with analytics, a record that this category is switched on or off, so your answer is remembered. Both stay in your browser, and neither is sent to us.

If you refuse, we never ask you anything and the feedback button is not shown. If you withdraw after answering, we stop asking; the answer you already sent stays with us, because you sent it deliberately.

The first time you open the platform we ask you. You may accept everything, reject everything but the necessary items, or choose category by category.

You can change your choice at any time. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or the cookie section of your profile screen. The panel opens with your current choice already shown, so you can see what is on before you change it.

If you reject analytics, marketing, and feedback, the platform works normally. You lose nothing you paid for.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary cookies stops you from signing in.

If we add a cookie in a new category, we ask you again.
